Welcome
to the family

Whatever your creed. Whatever your flavour. You are welcome here.

Ohanala is a place for anyone wanting to embrace the power of your sacred cycle.

Deepen your connection to your own inner rhythms, through the the practice of Sacred Cycle Syncing, Menstrual Cycle Awareness and Conscious Perimenopause.

It doesn’t matter whether you have a physical womb or not. Of if you no longer menstruate. You can still connect to the seasons and your sacred cycle through the power of the moon.

There are many spaces that teach about the power of the menstrual cycle awareness, with a focus on the big red week.

Our vision is to create a space that empowers you to embrace the power of all the seasons within your cycle.

And, for you to easily integrate Sacred Cycle Syncing into your day — without the froo froo and fluff.

Practicing Menstrual Cycle Awareness as a daily practice can be a potent way to deepen your connection to your conscious self, and to manage anxiety and overwhelm.

Your womb is a powerful energy centre.

Our vision is to empower you to access your womb’s wisdom through archetypal embodiment, breath work, somatic movement, menstrual cycle awareness, conscious perimenopause, the Wheel of the Year, and by embracing your womb’s unique and potent seasonal rhythms as your own guidebook to experiencing the fullness of your soul.

“Embracing Menstrual Cycle Awareness as a daily practice can positively change how you manage stress, deepen connections and communication, activate high level creativity and encounter your true authentic self.”

Cara Richardson, Day 25

Sacred Cycle Syncing embraces the metaphor that your cycle is akin to the four seasons.

Whilst there are days associated with each of the seasons, we are all unique and have different timings to our cycles.

There is no one ‘right’ time and each cycle can be different.

If you no longer have a menstrual cycle, or aren’t currently menstruating regularly you can cycle with the monthly lunar cycle.

  • The New Moon is like Day 1 of Inner Winter Menstruation.

  • The Waxing Moon is like the follicular Inner Spring phase

  • The Full Moon is like Inner Summer ovulation.

  • The Waning Moon is like luteal Inner Autumn phase.

If you’re no longer menstruating, using the actual moon cycle is a powerful way to sync your body to a natural cycle of death and rebirth. The new moon is Day 1 of your Inner Winter, and the Full Moon is Day 14 of your Inner Summer.
